Patterns of Home and School Partnership for General and Special Education Students at the Secondary Level.
Deslandes, Rollande; Royer, Egide; Potvin, Pierre; Leclerc, Danielle
Exceptional Children, v65 n4 p496-506 Sum 1999
This study examined the relationship between adolescents' perceptions of home and school partnership practices and two outcomes: grades in French and time spent on homework. The students (525 general-education and 112 special-education) completed a questionnaire based on Epstein's framework of partnership practices. For special-education students, parental monitoring and parental involvement in learning activities predicted both outcomes. (Author/DB)
