Evaluation Review, 1981
Four studies using 12 sample groups culminated in a Depth of Delinquency Index for use in evaluations of juvenile treatment programs. This index was deemed suitable for trial use in program evaluations and research related to groups of juvenile delinquents, but not for individual diagnostic purposes. (Author/GK)

In a secondary analysis of the Abrams and Siegel evaluation of the Transcendental Meditation program at Folsom prison, experimental groups fared better than control groups, although the treatment explains only a small proportion of the variance. (Author)

The results of a questionnaire submitted to teachers at Illinois community colleges suggest that individualized instruction is a useful tool despite the problems which commonly accompany its use.
