This study was concerned with the effect of experiences with test-type problems on the test performance of Negro children from a low socioeconomic area. Their heart rates, continuously monitored by tilemetry, did not relate significantly to the anxiety test data. Compared the test scores of high and low anxious subjects when the Wechsler Adult Intelligence scale was administered by a trained examiner or mechanically.
