The article suggests that results of psychological assessment should be communicated to families of disabled children in a way that would combine understandable information with a family treatment plan. Compared the Revised Peabody Picture Vocabulary Test (PPVT-R) and the Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children (Revised) for 53 rural children. The PPVT-R was highly correlated with WISC-R scale and subtest scores. Examination of a subsample of developmentally handicapped students revealed substantial reduction in correlational relationships. (JAC)

This study of 580 sports book reviews appearing between 1970 and 1980 reveals that number of sports books published has increased, but percentage of reviews has decreased; of total sample, 36 percent were indexed in "Book Review Index" (BRI), 0.2 percent in "Book Review Digest" (BRD), 8 percent in both BRI and BRD. Unreliable profiles impose the difficulty that ordinal and interval relations among the individual's scores become uncertain or unstable.
