This study investigated the effects of 15 second client response latencies upon the speech and silence behavior of four experimentally naive counselors in advanced training. The results indicate that a coached client was able to effect change unobtrusively in the speech and silence behavior of counselors. (Author)

The findings of the study suggest that the distribution of contraceptives on the campus will not produce widespread loss of virginity and promiscuity, and it will not cause a breakdown in the moral structure. By monitoring skin conductance and heart rate of 19 psychopathic, 21 neurotic, and 26 normal juvenile delinquents, it was concluded that the psychopathic autonomic characteristics resides in lower initial reactivity and not in more rapid adaptation, at least in response to a simple auditory stimulus.
