This study reports the procedures used to reduce the relative frequency of psychotic speech in an autistic child, and to produce verbal behavior appropriate for more conventional psychotherapeutic intervention. The results of this study provided additional support for the fruitfulness of conceptualizing four separate rational forms of novelty experiencing, as well as additional construct validation for each of the four measures.
