Analysis of 51 of 80 project proposals, the capstone exercise of the Arkansas Certified Government Manager program, showed that nearly half dealt with new technology/services and 65% were implemented. Responses from 193 of 547 master's of business administration programs indicated that capstone courses were 5 times more likely to be used for the integrating experience, and 65% of the time were used alone. Of 85 students in a capstone business course, 65% had used distance methods to earn some credits, and distance participants performed better in the capstone class.
