Miller, Brent C.; Bowen, Sheila L. – Family Relations, 1982

Yarber, William L.; Anno, Tim – Health Education (Washington D.C.), 1981
A human sexuality course was offered to students at the university level. It was hypothesized that the course would result in decreased levels of sex guilt and would increase permissiveness toward premarital sexual intimacy. Findings suggest a decreased level of sex guilt for males and an increase in females' attitudes of permissiveness. (JN)

Haas, Linda – Journal of Marriage and the Family, 1981
Investigated the extent to which Swedish couples (N=128) share domestic tasks using a mail survey. Suggests Swedish couples shared household chores more evenly than American couples. Meyers, Allan R.; And Others – International Journal of Aging and Human Development, 1981
Surveyed 928 older Bostonians and found a negative correlation between age and alcohol consumption among older adults. Retrospective data suggest that there are cohort or generational patterns of drinking behavior by older adults. Survey provides no insight into the historical factors which account for the differences in alcohol use. (Author/JAC)

Huba, G. J.; And Others – Journal of Drug Education, 1979

Oakland, Thomas – Journal of School Psychology, 1980
Examined relationships among the ABIC, pluralistic assessment's Estimated Learning Potential (ELP), and school achievement for elementary children. The ABIC is largely independent from both WISC-R IQs and achievement. In contrast to highly significant IQ-achievement correlations, the ELP-achievement correlations tend to be lower. (Author/BEF)
