De Obaldia, Ricardo; Parsons, Oscar A. – Journal of Clinical Psychology, 1984
Investigated the reliability and validity of the methods used to measure primary versus secondary alcoholism and claimed childhood symptoms of hyperkinesis/minimal brain dysfunction (Hk/MBD) in three separate studies (N=45), (N=53), (N=38). Pruitt, Doyle L.; Erickson, Marilyn T. – Journal of Clinical Psychology, 1985
Assigned 44 adult non-parents to a High or Low Abuse Potential Group based upon their Child Abuse Potential (CAP) Inventory scores. Monitored heart rates and skin conductances while subjects viewed videotapes of infants smiling, crying, or quiescent. Results supported the validity of the CAP inventory. (BH)
