The purpose of this investigation was to develop a short form of the WAIS that would have concurrent validity as well as construct validity. The short form, the "Adaptability" Scale, constructed was significantly related to Full Scale IQ's (construct validity) and to workshop performance (concurrent validity). (Author/CG)

Owing to the uncertainty concerning the concurrent validity of the SVIB and the KOIS, a test of accuracy of classification of men in the occupations common to both inventories was undertaken. The results suggest that neither show any less validity than had been shown in separate studies previously. (Author)
