Explored the relationship between the new Kaufman Assessment Battery for Children (K-ABC) and the Revised Peabody Picture Vocabulary Test (PPVT-R) Forms L and M for a sample of 30 predominantly Black Head Start children. Compared the performance of 21 moderately mentally retarded children on the McCarthy Scales of Children's Abilities (MSCA), Stanford-Binet, and Minnesota Child Development Inventory (MCDI).
